Mama overslept, and so the day gets off to a hectic start. Oscar's good mood doesn't impress her in the least. So Oscar decides that today is Oscar-be-naughty-day. In the corner where the dolls live, he switches their heads around. In the bathroom, he plays with paper and causes an enormous flood, and he helps himself to other children's candy. When you're as naughty as Oscar, the time flies by. But that evening, Oscar has a bit of a bad conscience. Does Mama still like him? |

Gaby Scholz was born in 1961 in Herne, Germany. Her background includes certified training in wholesale and international trade as well as a stint working for a bank with private clients and securities. Since 1999, Gaby Scholz has been a freelance children's book author. She also moderates or organizes events for children, including occasionally at the Reichstag or television tower in Berlin. |

Imke Sönnichsen studied in London and Mainz. Her first picture book was published while she was still a student and she received several honors. She currently lives with her family in Aachen and works as freelance illustrator. |
