Ulises Wensell was born in Madrid in 1942. Although he studied technical and chemical engineering, he felt himself drawn to sketching, painting and illustration. He has illustrated numerous children's books that are read throughout the world and has won many prizes in the course of his career. His most prized recognition, however, is the joy young readers experience when looking at his illustrations. |
