The Illustrator: |

Renate Seelig was born in Bielefeld, Germany in 1938 and studied art and textiles. Since 1971 she has done freelance work for advertising agencies as well as several publishers of children's books, textbooks, and magazines. Currently she lives in Frankfurt and is the proud mother of two sons, for whom her first drawings were created. Her first children's book arose from these illustrations, followed by many, many more. |
